Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Delhi, NY, for an Air Export Pricing Specialist. The Air Export Pricing Specialist will be responsible for analyzing market trends, obtaining competitive pricing from carriers, and preparing accurate air freight quotations. The role involves negotiating rates with airlines, maintaining strong relationships with service providers, monitoring competitor pricing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The candidate will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer pricing needs are met efficiently and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Expertise in air cargo pricing, market analysis, and rate negotiations
- Proficient in logistics processes, customs compliance, and regulations related to air exports
- Strong communication and relationship management skills to liaise effectively with clients and service providers
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market demands and optimize pricing strategies
- Proficiency in tools and technologies such as logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle time-sensitive shipments
- Prior experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
