Job Summary:
The Paint Technician is primarily responsible for painting metal diffusers as they move through the conveyor system, ensuring a flawless finish. This role involves conducting paint tests, changing filters in paint booths, and maintaining washers and chemicals during the cleaning process. The technician must be able to work in confined spaces and be comfortable handling industrial painting equipment. The position also requires flexibility in scheduling, including overtime and weekend work, to maintain equipment and production flow.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor and inspect products to ensure adherence to established specifications, drawings, work instructions, control plans, and visual aids.
- Perform visual and measured inspections and checks to control defects.
- Conduct paint tests and ensure metal diffusers are painted without flaws as they pass through the conveyor system.
- Change filters on paint booths as required.
- Maintain washers and chemicals during the cleaning process.
- Work safely in confined spaces when necessary.
- Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays, to maintain equipment and production schedules.

- Ability to take split breaks and/or lunches based on operational needs.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
- Basic knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
- Ability to operate and maintain painting equipment.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and adhering to safety protocols.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to work in a paint booth environment with proper protective equipment.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and work in varying temperatures.
