Your Role As a Senior Software Engineer (Python) on the Agentic Platform team at Ailevate, you will build and maintain production-grade FastAPI microservices that form the core infrastructure powering our AI agent ecosystem. These services are responsible for real-time agent execution, seamless interaction with external applications, and orchestration of complex AI workflows. You'll contribute directly to the evolution of our agentic framework, ensuring that all systems are robust, observable, and built with clean, maintainable code. Your work will influence not just functionality, but the platform-wide standards that drive consistency, performance, and developer velocity. In this role, you will: Design and implement asynchronous, high-throughput FastAPI microservices that enable intelligent agent behavior, workflow management, and transactional integration with external platforms. Build reusable agent execution components that support chaining, data transformation, and deterministic and non-deterministic task flows. Champion engineering values such as platform thinking, clean code, testability, and observability, ensuring services are enterprise-grade from day one. Collaborate tightly with the platform architect and adjacent engineering teams to support transactional requirements and system interoperability. Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and architectural guidance. Write technical documentation for core system behavior, APIs, and integration patterns to support onboarding and long-term maintainability. Technologies you'll work with include FastAPI, Python, asynchronous programming (async/await), Docker, and Kubernetes—with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-moving, AI-driven environments and want to influence the architecture and engineering culture of a rapidly growing platform.
