We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to turn footage and ideas into high-quality video content.

The Wise Idiot is a content and marketing agency. We work with clients across a variety of platforms and mediums, creating content that brings their visions to life.

The role
- As an AI Video Editor, you'll be responsible for bringing our clients' visions to life through the creation of high-quality video content.
- You'll work closely with our designers, writers, and producers to develop and execute video projects across a variety of platforms and mediums.
- A key part of the role will be creating AI videos using tools such as Higgsfield and Google Flow, alongside traditional video editing.
- You'll edit footage and audio, add visual effects, motion graphics, and colour correction as needed, and work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- You'll also be expected to stay up to date with the latest video editing techniques and software.
What you'll actually be doing
- Collaborate with designers, writers, producers, and team members on video projects
- Create AI videos using tools such as Higgsfield and Google Flow
- Edit footage and audio to create engaging, high-quality content
- Add visual effects, motion graphics, and colour correction as needed
- Work across projects for different platforms and mediums

What we're looking for
- 1-3 years of experience in video editing
- Experience in creating AI videos
- A strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
- A strong understanding of video editing techniques and storytelling
- A keen eye for detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A passion for video editing and creative problem-solving
