We're expanding our creative team in Gurgaon to push the boundaries of AI-driven content production.
Role Overview
We're looking for an AI Video Editor who can combine traditional video editing craft with modern generative AI tools to produce high-quality short-form and long-form content for social media, advertising campaigns, YouTube, and client deliverables. You will own the editing pipeline — from raw footage and AI-generated assets to a polished final cut ready for publication.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit Reels, YouTube videos, ads, explainers, brand films, and social content for Netpuppys and its client brands (MountainKahani, Tula's, and others).
- Use AI tools to generate, enhance, and accelerate production — including video generation, voice cloning, lip-sync, image-to-video, auto-captioning, background removal, color grading, and upscaling.
- Build B-roll, motion graphics, and visual effects using a mix of stock, AI generation, and original assets.
- Translate scripts and storyboards into engaging video narratives with strong pacing, sound design, and visual hierarchy.
- Collaborate with the content, marketing, and design teams to align edits with brand voice and campaign goals.
- Manage the asset library, project files, and version control for fast turnarounds.
- Stay current with new AI tools, platforms, and trends in short-form video.
Required Skills
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve (or CapCut Pro for short-form workflows).
- Working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics, titles, and basic VFX.
- Hands-on experience with at least 3–4 of the following AI tools: Runway ML, Sora, Pika, Kling, Luma Dream Machine (text-to-video / image-to-video)
- ElevenLabs, Murf, Resemble (voice generation / cloning)
- HeyGen, Synthesia, D-ID (AI avatars and lip-sync)
- Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Flux, Adobe Firefly (image generation)
- Topaz Video AI, Magnific (upscaling and enhancement)
- Descript, Submagic, Opus Clip (auto-edit and captioning)
- Solid sense of timing, rhythm, and storytelling — especially for vertical short-form video.
- Understanding of platform specs and best practices for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube long-form, and Facebook.
- Basic color grading and audio mixing.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Experience with prompt engineering for visual generation tools.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator for thumbnails and supporting assets.
- Familiarity with podcast/long-form video editing.
- Light scripting/copywriting ability (Hindi + English) for captions and hooks.
- Awareness of YouTube SEO basics — titles, thumbnails, retention curves.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Film, Design, or related field — or equivalent demonstrated portfolio.
- A strong showreel or portfolio is mandatory. Candidates without a portfolio will not be considered.
