Role Description The AI Video Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati. This role involves editing video assets using both traditional and AI-powered tools to create commercials, product videos, social media clips, explainer videos, and brand films aligned with client briefs and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting key shots, applying transitions, sound sync, and pacing, as well as performing color correction and grading to achieve a cinematic look. The AI Video Editor will collaborate with directors, producers, and designers to integrate motion graphics and visual elements, optimize videos for different platforms and aspect ratios, and maintain project organization and version control. The role also includes experimenting with new AI workflows, refining templates, and contributing creative ideas to improve storytelling and production efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in video production and video editing, including working with multi-camera footage and various formats.
- Proficiency in video color grading and color correction to achieve consistent, cinematic visual styles.
- Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics for titles, lower thirds, overlays, and visual storytelling.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar).
- Comfort working with AI-based video tools and willingness to learn new technologies and workflows.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and sound design, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, animation, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
