About Genmice Media
Genmice Media creates video content for Facebook pages with a large and fast-growing audience in the USA — true stories, science explainers and short drama series. Our videos are produced with the latest generative AI tools, and we are building a small remote team of creative AI video editors across India.
The Role
We are looking for a freelance AI Video Editor who can turn our scripts and prompt packs into polished, ready-to-post vertical videos. You will generate AI images and video clips, keep characters and scenes consistent from shot to shot, and edit everything into a finished video with narration, captions and music.
What You'll Create
• Narrated true-story videos (3–7 minutes) built from many short AI clips
• Science explainer shorts (30–60 seconds) with realistic 3D anatomy and macro visuals
• Short drama episodes (1–3 minutes) with recurring AI characters
Key Responsibilities
• Generate start images using tools such as Nano Banana, Midjourney or ChatGPT image
• Animate them into video clips using Veo 3, Kling, Seedance, Sora or similar tools
• Refine prompts when generations fail — wrong actions, morphing, distorted hands, text errors
• Maintain consistent characters, outfits, locations and lighting across every clip
• Edit final videos in 9:16 format: cut to voiceover, add captions, title cards, music and sound effects
• Review every frame for AI errors before delivery
• Deliver final MP4 files on schedule and handle revision feedback
Requirements
• Portfolio of at least 3 AI-generated videos you created yourself (links required)
• Hands-on experience with at least two AI video tools (Veo 3, Kling, Seedance, Sora, Runway, Hailuo or similar)
• Experience with AI image tools (Nano Banana, Midjourney, ChatGPT image, Flux or similar)
• Ability to write detailed prompts covering camera, lighting, action and style
• Strong editing skills in CapCut, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Good English reading and writing — scripts and audience are in English (USA)
• Sharp eye for continuity and AI artifacts
• Reliable with deadlines; clear communication over WhatsApp and email
• Own computer and stable internet connection
• Based in India
Nice to Have
• Experience with AI voice tools such as ElevenLabs
• Proven techniques for character consistency (reference images, start/end frames)
• Reels or Facebook videos that performed well
• Basic motion graphics or animated captions
• Strong storytelling instincts
