Role Summary
You make the ads that actually run. At ScoreUp, we produce 10–20 short-form video ads every week — and you're the engine behind every single one. You take scripts from the Script Writer, generate AI UGC spokesperson content using HeyGen or Arcads, edit everything into polished scroll-stopping ads, and deliver on time, every time. Speed and quality are equally non-negotiable here. You're not a slow perfectionist — you're a fast craftsperson.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Produce 10–20 short-form video ads per week across Meta Reels (9:16), TikTok, and YouTube Shorts formats — from script to final export
- Use HeyGen and Arcads to generate AI avatar / UGC spokesperson videos from approved scripts — select avatars, clone voices, adjust delivery
- Edit all AI-generated and raw footage in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci — adding B-roll, captions, sound design, music, and motion overlays
- Add hook-first visual structure — text overlays in first 2 seconds, strong visual contrast, subtitles optimised for muted viewing
- Produce multiple format variants per ad — 15s, 30s, 60s cuts for different placements and objectives
- Manage organised asset libraries — all deliverables version-controlled, named clearly, and linked to the corresponding brief
- Collaborate closely with the Script Writer to flag unclear cues, unnatural AI delivery, or scripts that don't translate well to video
- Stay ahead of trending short-form formats, transitions, text styles, and audio trends across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube — apply them fast
- Conduct quality checks before every delivery — aspect ratio, audio levels, caption accuracy, export settings
- Occasionally produce on-camera UGC content (talking-head style) when authentic human footage is needed alongside AI variants
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2+ yrs short-form video editing - Performance ads, UGC, or social content — not long-form documentary or corporate video
- HeyGen / Ai tooling proficiency -Has actually used AI avatar tools to generate commercial content — not just experimented
- Hook-first visual instinct- Knows the first 2 seconds determine everything. Designs for retention, not aesthetics
- High-volume output -Comfortable producing 10–20 polished videos/week without cutting corners
- Platform format fluency - Knows Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts specs cold — aspect ratios, safe zones, durations
- Caption & sound design- Strong captions, relevant music/SFX choices — optimises for muted and sound-on viewers
- Bonus: Motion graphics - After Effects/Premiere pro or CapCut motion templates for enhanced visual impact
