About Ariantra AI Foundry & MarksZen
Ariantra AI Foundry Pvt. Ltd., through its flagship platform MarksZen (markszen.com), is solving one of education's hardest problems: evaluating handwritten, descriptive answers at scale — fairly, contextually, and accurately. Using advanced vision technology and multi-agent AI systems, MarksZen grades subjective assessments across traditional and online formats, eliminating bias and freeing teachers to focus on what they do best — mentoring students.
We are building the gold-standard evaluation engine for Indian and global education, and we need experienced classroom teachers to help us get there.
About the Role
This is not a classroom teaching role. We are hiring practising or former school teachers to join MarksZen as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who will shape how our AI understands, marks, and explains student answers.
You will sit at the intersection of pedagogy and artificial intelligence. Your day-to-day work will involve writing model answers, designing marking rubrics, evaluating sample student scripts, and most importantly, auditing AI-generated evaluations to ensure they meet the standards a real teacher would apply. Your judgment directly trains and corrects our AI.
If you have ever felt that marking 150 answer scripts a week is a poor use of your subject expertise, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality questions, model answers, and reference solutions across your subject area for Grades 6–12 (CBSE / ICSE / State boards / IB / Cambridge as relevant).
- Rubric Design: Build detailed, step-marked rubrics that translate teacher judgement into instructions an AI can follow — including mark distribution, partial credit logic, alternative acceptable answers, and common misconception flags.
- Human Evaluation: Mark sample student answer scripts (handwritten and typed) as the ground-truth reference set, with clear justifications for marks awarded or deducted.
- AI Evaluation Verification (QA): Review evaluations produced by MarksZen's AI, identify where it has marked correctly, leniently, or harshly, and provide structured feedback that improves the model.
- Edge Case Curation: Surface tricky answers — partially correct responses, creative-but-valid solutions, language ambiguities, diagram-based answers — and document how they should be handled.
- Collaboration with AI/Product Teams: Work alongside our AI engineers and product team to translate pedagogical nuance into prompts, evaluation logic, and product features.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to building MarksZen's internal evaluation playbook, style guide, and SME training materials.
Who We're Looking For
Must-haves
- 3+ years of full-time classroom teaching experience at Middle School, Secondary, or Senior Secondary level in India.
- Subject mastery in one or more of: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Social Science, Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy, or Computer Science.
- Hands-on experience setting question papers and marking answer scripts (board exam / pre-board / internal assessments).
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject; B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Strong written English — you will be writing rubrics and feedback that need to be precise and unambiguous.
- Comfort with computers, Google Workspace, and willingness to learn new web-based tools quickly.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a CBSE / ICSE / State Board examiner or paper-setter.
- Familiarity with NCERT framework, NEP 2020, or competency-based assessment.
- Prior exposure to EdTech, content development for educational platforms, or AI/ML tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.).
- Master's degree in subject or M.Ed.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- You can articulate why a student got 3 out of 5, not just that they did.
- You believe assessment should reward understanding, not just keywords.
- You are curious about AI and excited — not threatened — by the idea of teaching a machine to mark fairly.
- You are detail-obsessed. You notice when a rubric is ambiguous, when a model answer is sloppy, when an AI got the marks right but the reasoning wrong.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary, benchmarked above leading EdTech and coaching institutes.
- A chance to shape an AI product that will be used by thousands of schools and lakhs of students.
- Work directly with the founding and AI teams — no layers, real ownership.
- A modern, collaborative workspace in Gurugram with peers who respect pedagogy as much as technology.
- Structured learning: you'll gain real, deep exposure to applied AI, product thinking, and EdTech operations.
• • Career paths into senior SME, Head of Subject, Curriculum Lead, or AI Training Lead roles as we grow.
