We are looking for an experienced and passionate AI Solutions Engineer to join our growing AI & Innovation team supporting global Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology organizations.
As an AI Solutions Engineer, you will lead the development of advanced AI agents and enterprise Agentic AI platforms using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Key Responsibilities
- Azure AI Foundry Orchestration: Utilize Azure AI Foundry to build, test, and deploy end-to-end agentic workflows. This includes managing the full lifecycle of AI assets, from model selection to deployment and monitoring.
- Agent Development: Design and implement intelligent agents using Azure OpenAI Service and Microsoft Copilot Studio, leveraging advanced prompting and tool-calling capabilities.
- MCP Server Implementation: Architect and develop MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to provide LLMs with standardized, secure access to your organization's unique data, tools, and local environments.
- System Integration: Connect AI agents to enterprise data sources using Azure AI Search for RAG and integrate with third-party APIs through custom-built MCP connectors.
- Governance & Evaluation: Use Azure AI Foundry’s evaluation tools to measure agent performance, accuracy, and safety, ensuring high-quality, responsible AI deployments.
Required Technical Skills
- Azure AI Foundry: Hands-on experience with the Azure AI Foundry portal (formerly Azure AI Studio) for managing projects, deployments, and AI services.
- Model Context Protocol (MCP): Deep understanding of the MCP specification and experience building servers that expose data and functions to LLMs.
- Azure OpenAI: Mastery of GPT-4o and specialized models within the Azure ecosystem, focusing on function calling and structured outputs.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, particularly with the Azure AI SDK and MCP SDKs.
- Enterprise Patterns: Strong understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agentic patterns like planning, self-correction, and multi-agent systems.
