Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an AI Software Developer. The person in this role will design, implement, and maintain AI-powered software components, with a focus on building robust, production-ready systems. Day-to-day work includes developing and optimizing machine learning models, integrating them into scalable applications, and collaborating with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements. The AI Software Developer will write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions for AI services and pipelines. The role also involves researching new methods, evaluating tools and frameworks, and documenting designs, experiments, and best practices to support team-wide knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented or functional programming, and working with version control systems.
- Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, including implementing and tuning deep learning models using modern ML frameworks.
- Practical experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as text classification, sequence labeling, language modeling, or conversational AI.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language used for AI development (e.g., Python, Java, or C++), and familiarity with libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
- Experience building and deploying AI or machine learning models into production environments (APIs, microservices, or cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Ability to analyze and work with large datasets, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and evaluating model performance with appropriate metrics.
- Strong problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed, remote team.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
