Role Description The Ai & Robotics Tutor will deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons in artificial intelligence, robotics, and related technologies to students in an on-site setting in Ranchi. This full-time role involves planning and structuring lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, and conducting practical sessions using educational hardware, software, and simulation tools. The tutor will guide students through projects, troubleshoot challenges, and foster problem-solving skills and creativity. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining classroom equipment, and collaborating with colleagues to refine educational content. The role also includes supporting Smart-Class and immersive learning initiatives that incorporate ROOTBASE’s hologram and virtual reality technologies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational technical skills, such as knowledge of AI concepts, basic machine learning, and robotics systems or platforms used in educational settings.
- Candidates should possess programming and computational thinking skills, for example experience with beginner-friendly languages (such as Python or block-based coding) and understanding of algorithms and logic.
- Candidates should possess instructional and curriculum development skills, including lesson planning, classroom facilitation, and the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, age-appropriate manner.
- Candidates should possess communication and mentoring skills, such as strong verbal and written communication, patience, and the ability to motivate and support diverse learners.
- Candidates should possess digital and educational technology skills, including familiarity with Smart-Class systems, virtual reality tools, and basic troubleshooting of classroom devices.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience in AI, robotics, or STEM education is also valued.
- Prior experience teaching or mentoring students in STEM, robotics clubs, or coding programs is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Ranchi, manage classroom responsibilities independently, and collaborate with the ROOTBASE team on new content and initiatives.
