Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Ai & Robotics Tutor role based in Ranchi. The tutor will design and deliver engaging lessons in AI, robotics, and related technologies to school and college-level learners, using ROOTBASE’s smart-class content and tools. Daily responsibilities include planning curricula, preparing hands-on activities, conducting live classroom sessions, and supporting learners in projects and competitions. The role involves adapting complex technical concepts into age-appropriate explanations, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The tutor will collaborate with the content and technology teams to refine teaching materials, integrate hologram and VR elements where applicable, and participate in training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations for partner institutions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in AI, robotics, and related fields, with the ability to explain concepts such as sensors, actuators, basic programming, and simple machine learning principles in an accessible way.
- Experience teaching or mentoring students in STEM subjects, preferably in school or college settings, with a learner-centered and inclusive approach.
- Comfort working with educational technology, including smart-class systems, basic coding platforms (e.g., Scratch, Python, block-based tools), and common robotics kits.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of learners and encourage curiosity and creativity.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Education, or a related field; relevant certifications in AI, robotics, or STEM education are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Ranchi, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and adapt to evolving curricula and technologies.
- Prior experience developing lesson plans, project-based learning modules, or workshop content is highly beneficial.
