Job details:
At HowNWhy, we believe children learn best when they get the chance to explore, experiment, build, and figure things out for themselves. We are working to make learning more hands-on and meaningful by bringing technology and real-world problem-solving into schools. Our students work with Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Coding, Electronics, IoT, Drones, 3D Printing, Automation, EV Technology, and other emerging technologies. They participate in projects, workshops, hackathons, innovation challenges, project expos, and competitions such as Hack4Future and the HownWhy Budding Technologist Program. We are looking for people who genuinely enjoy learning, building things, and working with children.
As a STEM, AI, and Robotics Trainer/Mentor, your role will be much more than standing in front of a class and delivering a lesson. You could be helping a group of students build their first robot, guiding a team working on an AI project, helping students turn a problem they have identified into a working prototype, or mentoring a team preparing for a hackathon. Some days may involve robotics and electronics, while others may involve Artificial Intelligence, drones, coding, or simply helping students think through an idea that is not working yet. The most important part of the role is helping students become curious, confident, and willing to try.
You will conduct hands-on learning sessions, workshops, and project-based activities in STEM, AI, Robotics, Coding, Electronics, IoT, Automation, and other areas of technology. You will mentor students through projects and competitions, help them research and develop ideas, support them in building prototypes, and guide them in presenting their work. You will also work with the HowNWhy curriculum and education teams to improve learning content and create better hands-on experiences for students. We are looking for someone with a good understanding of STEM, AI, Robotics, Coding, Electronics, or related areas, along with strong communication and presentation skills. More importantly, you should be comfortable working with children, explaining ideas in simple ways, learning new technologies, and getting your hands dirty with projects. Experience with robotics kits, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, drones, 3D printers, AI tools, programming, hackathons, or innovation projects will be an added advantage.
Working at HowNWhy means being part of a team that is trying to change the way students experience learning. You will work with schools, students, teachers, mentors, and technology professionals and be part of programs that encourage students to ask questions and find their own answers. If you enjoy technology, like building things, are comfortable learning something new, and get excited when a student suddenly understands an idea or comes up with one of their own, you may fit in very well here. At HowNWhy, you will have the opportunity to learn, experiment, travel, work on exciting projects, and help young students discover that they can do much more than they initially thought possible.
