AI Product Developer & Integration Specialist We’re looking for someone who wants to straddle the line between product management and software development. You are excited to create and drive new products but also capable of leveraging AI tools to realize your vision. We’ll give you problems and you are able to think through, develop and create solutions from end to end. What we’re providing to you is a rich, historical resource of data and existing software products along with a client base that’s eager for solutions.
We are a software company building intelligent, AI-powered products and client solutions. As demand for AI capabilities grows, we are looking for a skilled, self-directed AI Product Developer & Integration Specialist to join us on a freelance/contractor basis. You will work alongside our engineering team to design, build, and ship AI bots, agents, and integrations that are production-ready and maintainable, not just prototypes.

What you'll do• Design and build custom AI chatbots, voice agents, and autonomous AI agents for client-facing and internal applications
• Integrate LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, LLaMA, etc.) into existing platforms, codebases, CRMs, and business workflows
• Collaborate with our dev team to ensure AI components meet code quality, security, and scalability standards
• Prompt engineer, evaluate, and fine-tune model outputs for specific client use cases
• Deliver clean documentation and handoff materials so our team can maintain and extend your work
Required qualifications• Proven track record building and deploying AI bots and integrations in real production environments
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) and advanced prompt engineering
• Experience integrating AI into existing software products and third-party platforms via RESTful APIs
• Comfort working in a software development environment — version control (Git), code review, and structured handoffs are standard
• Ability to work independently, manage your own timeline, and communicate progress clearly with technical teammates
Preferred qualifications• Experience contributing AI features to SaaS products or client software builds
• Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for AI services and APIs
• Background in NLP, machine learning, or data science
• Experience with voice AI (Vapi, ElevenLabs, Deepgram) or computer vision workflows
• Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Node.js backend frameworks
• Portfolio of live, deployed AI projects available for review
Important - AI tools are contractor-provided
This is a bring-your-own-tools engagement. Contractors are expected to have an active subscriptions and licenses for any AI platforms, APIs, or software required to complete the work ie. ChatGPT, Claude Pro, GitHub, CoPilot, etc. Tool costs are not reimbursed and should be factored into your proposed project rate.
