Role Description The AI Platform Lead / Lead AI Engineer / Staff AI Engineer will design, implement, and optimize AI and data platforms on Databricks AgentBricks and Snowflake Cortex AI, with a focus on production-grade solutions. This is a full-time remote role responsible for leading end-to-end platform architecture, including data ingestion, model development, deployment, observability, and governance. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, translating them into scalable architectures, and guiding teams in building secure, resilient, and cost-efficient AI workloads. The role involves hands-on development of pipelines, agents, and services, performance tuning across cloud environments, and ensuring best practices in MLOps, LLMOps, and platform reliability. The individual will also mentor engineers, contribute to technical standards, and help shape Klimber’s AI platform strategy across multiple clients and projects.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving, performance optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent Communication abilities, including clear documentation, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in Software Development, including Python or similar languages, CI/CD practices, and building production-grade data and AI services.
- Expertise in Solution Architecture, especially designing cloud-native AI and data platforms on Databricks AgentBrics, Snowflake Cortex, and major clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Demonstrated Project Management skills to lead initiatives, manage timelines, and coordinate distributed engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with ML/LLM engineering, MLOps/LLMOps, and deploying models and agents into production environments.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, streaming, data modeling) and observability tools for monitoring AI platforms.
