AI Platform/ Generative AI / LLM Engineer
Job Title: AI Platform Engineer – LLM, Agentic AI & Python Development
Experience: 6-8 Years
Engagement: Full-Time
Work Mode: Pune (Hybrid)
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days OR Serving NP
About the Role
We are hiring an AI Platform Engineer to join a central AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) and drive AI-first engineering across the organization.
This role focuses on embedding AI into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)—not as an add-on, but as a core engineering capability. You will build production-ready AI integrations, internal tools, and agentic workflows that enhance development, testing, and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
AI Workflow Analysis & Strategy
- Analyze existing SDLC workflows (planning, development, testing, deployment)
- Identify high-impact AI integration opportunities
- Provide actionable insights and scalable AI adoption frameworks
Hands-on AI Development
- Build internal tools and automation using Python
- Develop LLM-powered applications and integrations
- Containerize and deploy solutions using Docker
Agentic AI & Automation
- Design and implement multi-agent workflows using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI
- Integrate AI solutions into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab)
- Apply structured, spec-driven development for AI workflows
LLMOps & AgentOps
- Manage lifecycle of LLM integrations (prompt versioning, monitoring, cost tracking)
- Ensure observability, logging, and performance of AI systems
- Implement AI quality checkpoints in engineering workflows
AI Evaluation & Guardrails
- Design guardrails for safe and reliable AI outputs
- Conduct evaluations for accuracy, reliability, and edge cases
- Address hallucination risks and ensure output quality
AI-Driven Engineering Culture
- Use AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance productivity
- Support engineering teams in adopting AI-first practices
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–8 years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Experience in prompt engineering and structured outputs
- Exposure to agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI)
- Understanding of LLMOps / AgentOps practices
- DevOps knowledge: CI/CD, Docker, Git workflows
- Experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot / Cursor)
Good to Have
- Experience building internal AI tools or developer platforms
- Exposure to AI observability tools (LangSmith, Arize, Helicone, Braintrust)
- Experience with Azure AI ecosystem (Azure AI Foundry, AI Search, Document Intelligence)
