ROLE SUMMARY
Owns the technical AI backbone of the project and leads the Gen AI artist team. Hybrid role combining senior artist execution with pipeline architecture and team leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own model selection and evaluation across current generative video and image tools.
- Architect the prompt library, asset versioning system, and overall technical pipeline.
- Set up character/style consistency systems (LoRA training, IP-adapter workflows, reference conditioning).
- Manage Seedance API integration and other tooling access.
- Lead the Gen AI artist team — daily standups, work allocation, quality benchmarks.
- Execute hero shots, complex sequences, and action set-pieces personally as the senior-most generator.
- Partner with the Visual Dev Lead on style consistency techniques.
- Troubleshoot technical blockers across the production pipeline.
- Stay current with rapidly evolving AI tooling and recommend mid-production upgrades when valuable.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Senior AI artist or technical director with deep hands-on experience across current tools: Seedance, Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, Sora, Midjourney, Veo, and Stable Diffusion ecosystems.
- Demonstrated portfolio of narrative or high-end commercial work using Gen AI tools.
- Strong understanding of character/style consistency techniques at scale.
- Engineering, scripting, or technical art direction background a plus.
- Leadership experience managing creative teams.
- Fluency in the project's prompt grammar (or ability to absorb it quickly during pre-prod overlap).
