PetYosa isn't just an appโit's a revolution in pet care. A first-of-its-kind AI-powered pet super app that brings everything a pet parent needs into one smart, seamless experience.
We're looking for a mid-level full-stack engineer who is genuinely AI-native: someone who treats agentic coding tools as a daily driver, knows how to scope and verify their output, and can move fluidly across the stack โ from TypeScript/React frontends to backend services and, where needed, packaging into native iOS and Android apps.
Your day will involve planning features, breaking them into clear tasks, executing with massive support from AI tools, reviewing outputs critically, testing thoroughly, and taking features all the way to production. Youโll own work end-to-end across PetYosaโs many product surfaces, build the conventions and infrastructure that make AI agents reliable on our codebase, and ship adaptive UIs that feel native everywhere.
๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐:
- Build and ship full-stack features from a TypeScript/React codebase, owning them from product/PRD through implementation, testing, and production release across multiple PetYosa product surfaces.
- Use agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor) as a primary part of your workflow โ scoping tasks well, reviewing diffs critically, and verifying outputs rather than trusting them blindly.
- Establish and maintain agent-enabling project infrastructure: CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md conventions, reusable skills, hooks, and subagent/eval patterns that keep agent output reliable on our codebase.
- Build adaptive, responsive UIs that behave well across web and mobile; where needed, package to native iOS/Android (Tauri/Capacitor) and handle platform-specific concerns.
- Integrate backend services and data layers (Node/Python, MongoDB), and containerize/deploy with Docker.
- Research and evaluate new tools, libraries, and approaches, and make sound build-vs-adopt decisions in a fast-moving space.
- Write tests and verification steps, and treat reliability (error handling, edge cases, security) as part of "done."
- Testing the work done is a very essential requirement of this job.

- Strong software engineering fundamentals and coding know-how โ clean, reliable, tested code โ paired with full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Practical, daily use of AI/agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor) with sound judgment about verifying their output.
- Strong decision-making and the ability to own features end to end.
- Adaptability in a fast-changing stack, and the research skills to evaluate and adopt new tools independently.
- Disciplined context management โ knowing what information to give an agent, what to keep out, and how to keep work scoped and reliable. Solid Git and modern web fundamentals.
๐๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field โ or equivalent demonstrable experience (a strong shipped portfolio outweighs formal credentials).
