TNS India Foundation (TNSIF) is actively scaling-up its Campus to Technical Careers (C2TC) team that
works passionately towards tackling the ever-growing skill gap challenge faced by youth in developing
countries like India. Through our proven program design we work to identify, skills and empower
underprivileged youth through a combination of skills training, career counselling support and
corporate linkages. The program embeds itself in the ecosystem of existing education providers and
works to create system level change and student empowerment from the ground up. We have worked
with over 20,000 students in India in the last 7 years and are looking to expand on the transformative
change catalysed to empower more young people across cities.
The program’s success hinges on young people passionate about other young people, thinking and
executing ground-level initiatives that have a measurable impact on youth employability issues. The
role calls for an organized and empathetic approach to working in this dynamic ecosystem. The
individual must demonstrate commitment and zeal to scale the impact of this intervention. If this

The job of a Program Specialist / Senior Program Specialist – Technical Trainer will involve:
● Design and update the technical curriculum according to employer requirements for the C2TC
program.
● Work with underprivileged youth full time through providing extensive and high quality,
focused technical training.
● Mobilize colleges for outreach to maximum youth to offer the employability skills program
● Maintain program operations in the college premises and at the digital academy which are
part of the program
● Maintain, update and share databases for the training batches
● Collaborate effectively and efficiently with the team to achieve organizational goals
● Track record of, and keen interest in finding ways to make training curriculum more industry
relevant, to help learners find employment.
● Conduct interview preparation sessions to prepare learners for higher interview success.

Training students will be a primary responsibility and based on interest and abilities, you will be
able to contribute to other programmatic areas.
Essential skills include:
- Masters’ degree in IT/Computer Science or B.Tech/B.E. with keen interest in teaching/training. - 2+
years of work experience in: either (a) Training/L&D roles with the private-sector/ student
engagement (including internships and volunteer work), or (b) experience in core
technical/programming/development work at technology (IT/software/tech start-ups) and/or
analytics firms looking to switch to a training role
Technical Expertise: Includes, but not limited to, the following
Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, SQL, and AI-related libraries. Machine
Learning (ML) & Artificial Intelligence (AI) Knowledge: Strong understanding of ML algorithms,
deep learning, LLMs, reinforcement learning, NLP, and generative AI.
Instructional Experience: Experience in teaching, training, curriculum design, or technical
mentoring for adult learners.
Tools & Platforms: Familiarity with GitHub / GitHub co-pilot, Jupyter Notebook, cloud-based services
(Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and has problem-solving skills plus willingness
Other attributes that would be assessed favourably include
● Willingness to live in and travel across and around base city for offline; familiarity with
delivering online sessions for high engagement and learning outcomes preferred
● Demonstrated ability to deliver within tight deadlines
● Willingness and flair to communicate with and engage with multiple stakeholders
● Humility and openness to learning and receiving feedback for improvement
● Maturity to handle challenging situations related to work, when they arise
● Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse team
● Good to excellent oral and written communication skills
● Conversational familiarity with local language preferred, but not a strict requirement
● High-performers and individuals with an enterprising streak would be viewed favourably
