Company Description One Algo AI (Learn & Build AI) is an AI-first learning and mentorship ecosystem focused on upskilling students and professionals in future-defining technologies. The organization offers programs in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), LangChain, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Machine Learning, Data Science, and Applied AI Engineering. Learners work on practical, project-based assignments through live sessions, self-paced modules, and guidance from experienced AI practitioners. The ecosystem emphasizes a deep understanding of intelligent systems, data-driven decision-making, and real-world AI product integration. Role Description The AI & ML Research Intern will work full time on-site at the Gurgaon office, contributing to research and development of AI and machine learning solutions aligned with One Algo AI’s learning and product initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include experimenting with machine learning models, exploring Generative AI and LLM-based architectures, and supporting the design of LangChain and RAG workflows for applied use cases. The intern will assist in creating research prototypes, evaluating model performance, and documenting findings for internal teams and learning content. The role also involves collaborating with mentors and engineers, cleaning and preparing datasets, and contributing to project-based learning materials and demos.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess core AI and ML skills such as supervised and unsupervised learning, model training workflows, and basic deep learning concepts.
- Candidates should possess programming and software skills including Python, common ML libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn), and familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Candidates should possess data handling and analysis skills, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Generative AI and LLMs, with exposure to frameworks and tools such as LangChain, RAG systems, or popular model APIs.
- Candidates should possess strong algorithmic and computational thinking skills, supported by knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms.
- Beneficial qualifications include experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch or TensorFlow), basic MLOps concepts, and building simple AI-powered applications.
- Beneficial attributes include clear written and verbal communication, the ability to learn quickly, collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, and document research in a structured manner.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
