Role Description This is a full-time, on-site AI/ML Engineer role based in Mylapore. The AI/ML Engineer will design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI solutions that support Pentabay’s products and client projects, including intelligent automation, AI agents, and data-driven applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and training models, implementing algorithms, performing data preprocessing and feature engineering, and evaluating model performance with appropriate metrics. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI components into cloud-native and enterprise systems, optimizing models for scalability, security, and reliability. The AI/ML Engineer will also contribute to research and prototyping of new approaches, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement of existing AI and ML pipelines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, with the ability to design efficient, scalable solutions.
- Proficiency in Statistics and Pattern Recognition for data analysis, feature extraction, and performance evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and modern machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience with programming languages commonly used in AI/ML (such as Python) and familiarity with software engineering best practices.
- Knowledge of data engineering concepts, including data preprocessing, ETL pipelines, and working with structured and unstructured data.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices for deploying and monitoring ML models in production.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
