We're hiring: AI/ML Engineer (1-2 year Experience)

We are looking for a passionate AI/ML Engineer to join our team at Asterbyte and contribute to building Imentiv.ai, an AI-driven emotion recognition platform. In this role, you will work on developing intelligent systems that analyze human emotions through facial expressions, voice, and behavioral signals.
Success in this role means building accurate and scalable machine learning models, contributing to real-world AI product development, and actively collaborating with the team to solve complex challenges in computer vision and multimodal AI. This role plays a key part in shaping the core technology behind our product.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models for emotion recognition and related AI applications
- Work on computer vision and/or NLP-based solutions involving real-world datasets
- Build, train, test, and debug deep learning models using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation to improve performance
- Use version control systems like Git to manage code and collaborate effectively with the team
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve development efficiency while maintaining strong coding standards
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and apply relevant techniques to ongoing projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in AI/ML roles or strong hands-on project experience through internships or research
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
- Hands-on experience in Computer Vision or NLP projects
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and model evaluation techniques
- Experience with Git/GitHub and collaborative development practices
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
