Digipanda is a fast-growing technology-driven company focused on building scalable digital products and intelligent automation systems. We are expanding our AI capabilities and looking for a strong AI/ML Engineer to build custom AI solutions and integrations from scratch.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer who can develop custom AI wrappers, integrate AI APIs, and build production-ready backend systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with LLM integrations, API architecture, and scalable AI deployments.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and deploy custom AI/ML solutions based on business use cases
· Build AI wrappers around LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
· Design, develop, and manage REST APIs & third-party integrations
· Create middleware layers for AI-powered applications
· Work on prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector search
· Optimize AI systems for performance, scalability, and cost
· Implement authentication systems (JWT, OAuth)
· Manage databases (SQL / NoSQL)
· Deploy and maintain AI applications on cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
· Collaborate with product and tech teams to ship scalable solutions
Required Skills
· Strong proficiency in Python
· Experience with FastAPI / Flask / Django
· Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.)
· Experience building custom AI wrappers and API layers
· Strong understanding of REST architecture
· Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate)
· Experience with Docker & basic DevOps practices
· Version control using Git
Good to Have
· Experience with RAG architecture
· Experience with LangChain / LlamaIndex
· LLM fine-tuning experience
· Basic frontend understanding (React / Next.js)
· Experience working on AI SaaS products
