About The Role
We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to join our dynamic team at TCS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and deploying advanced generative AI models and algorithms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design innovative AI solutions that align with organizational goals. The AI/ML Engineer will be responsible for developing scalable applications, fine-tuning models for optimal performance, and facilitating proof-of-concept projects that demonstrate the potential of AI-driven solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technologies such as GPT, VAE, GANs, and frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex, contributing to the digital transformation initiatives of our clients across various sectors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in AI and machine learning project implementation, with a focus on Generative AI.
- Strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with scripting skills in SQL, NoSQL, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), ChatGPT, OpenAI, Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and Responsible AI principles.
- Familiarity with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, DsPy, and LangGraph.
- Experience with backend frameworks including Django REST and FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, specifically Azure AI services, Azure Function App, API Management, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, and Azure OpenAI.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git, and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement generative AI models and algorithms leveraging cutting-edge techniques such as GPT, VAE, and GANs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project objectives, and ensure AI solutions align with business strategies.
- Fine-tune existing AI models to enhance performance, scalability, and efficiency, employing various fine-tuning methodologies.
- Develop and deploy proof-of-concept machine learning systems to demonstrate feasibility and value.
- Manage data pipelines, data analysis, and model training processes to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and incorporate innovative approaches into project development.
- Ensure responsible AI practices by adhering to ethical guidelines, AI guardrails, and observability standards.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing to foster a collaborative team environment.
