Job Description: AI/ML Engineer – ECG Analysis (Project-Based)
Position Title: AI/ML Engineer – ECG Signal Processing
⚠️ Prior experience with 12-Lead ECG analysis and Myocardial Infarction (MI) detection is mandatory for this role.
Engagement Type: Project-Based (3 Months) (Extendable based on performance; potential full-time opportunity)
Location: Work From Home (WFH) | Optional: Noida Office
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AI/ML Engineer to work on a project focused on detecting Myocardial Infarction (MI) using 12-Lead ECG data. The candidate will be responsible for developing robust deep learning models and contributing to end-to-end signal processing pipelines as part of a multimodal physiological monitoring platform.
You will work closely with our AI/ML lead on a small, focused team building production-grade cardiac analysis models.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement algorithms for MI detection using 12-Lead ECG signals
- Perform ECG signal preprocessing, feature extraction, and quality assessment
- Design, train, and optimize deep learning models using PyTorch
- Work with established research datasets (PTB-XL and related) as well as real-world clinical data
- Analyze model performance and improve accuracy through iterative refinement
- Collaborate on integrating models into a deployable pipeline (cloud + edge targets)
- Document methodologies, experiments, and results
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in ECG signal analysis, specifically 12-Lead ECG
- Prior work on Myocardial Infarction (MI) detection or related cardiac conditions
- Hands-on experience with ML/DL model development for ECG signals
- Strong understanding of signal processing techniques
- Proficiency in Python (NumPy, SciPy, PyTorch/Tensorflow)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with ECG lead optimization or lead reduction techniques
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS) and data engineering workflows
- Experience with edge deployment (Raspberry Pi / embedded targets)

Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks
- Strong foundation in Statistics and data-driven decision-making
- Hands-on experience with ECG signal processing and physiological data analysis
