Role Purpose
The B2B Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth for the assigned centre by building and growing B2B corporate sales, SAI skilling and consulting business, and B2I expansion across the region.
This role is meant for a high-energy, market-facing sales professional who can build local presence, generate strong revenue opportunities, develop partnerships, open institutional and corporate doors, and support centre-led growth initiatives. The person will work closely with the Centre Manager to expand SAIs reach across corporates, institutions, associations, governing bodies, and ecosystem partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Generation & Business Development
• Drive B2B revenue for the assigned centre through AI skilling programs, workshops, bootcamps, academies, consulting solutions, advisory engagements, and transformation-led offerings
• Drive B2I expansion by building business with colleges and universities
• Own the end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, prospecting, meetings, solution discussions, proposal creation, commercial negotiations, closures, and collections follow-up
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the centre
• Build a strong local pipeline of short-term and long-term opportunities across skilling, consulting, and partnerships
2. Corporate Sales Skilling & Consulting
• Identify and engage decision-makers such as CHROs, L&D Heads, HR Heads, Business Heads, Digital Transformation Heads, CIOs, CTOs, Innovation Heads, and functional leaders
• Sell SAIs offerings including:
• Softskilling, Behavioural & Leadership Programs
• AI awareness and leadership programs
• AI programs for business teams and functional teams
• Corporate AI academies
• AI skilling workshops and bootcamps
• AI consulting and advisory solutions
• Workflow automation and AI integration opportunities
• Build relationships with existing and new accounts to generate repeat business and larger mandate opportunities
• Position SAI as a trusted partner for both capability building and AI-led transformation
3. B2I Expansion & Institutional Partnerships
• Build partnerships with colleges & universities.
• Identify opportunities for student skilling, faculty development, AI labs, certifications, bootcamps, institutional alliances, and embedded learning solutions
• Build long-term relationships with principals, deans, placement heads, management, trustees, and institutional decision-makers
• Support the centre in becoming a local hub for AI learning and institutional collaboration
4. Market Development, Associations, Partnerships & Ecosystem Building
• Strengthen SAI’s local brand presence in the assigned city and surrounding region
• Build strong relationships with local associations, governing bodies, chambers of commerce, trade bodies, business forums, sector councils, and industry networks
• Establish partnerships with platforms such as Chambers of Commerce, NASSCOM, CII, FICCI, CREDAI, TiE, SME associations, trade bodies, startup forums, education forums, and regional business networks
• Identify and activate ecosystem partners who can open doors for corporate skilling, consulting mandates, institutional tie-ups, awareness sessions, roundtables, and co-branded initiatives
• Build relationships with government-linked institutions, local development bodies, incubation centres, sector associations, and regional ecosystem enablers to support B2B and B2I growth
• Create a city-level partnership and ecosystem outreach plan in consultation with the Centre Manager
• Provide regular market intelligence on local sectors, associations, competition, buyer behavior, pricing, and emerging opportunities
5. Events, Leadership Outreach & Business Visibility
• Support the event and marketing teams in planning and executing centre-led events, roundtables, seminars, workshops, leadership forums, and networking platforms
• Identify, invite, and engage top industry leaders, corporate decision-makers, government representatives, institutional leaders, association members, and ecosystem influencers for SAI-led events and initiatives
• Use local networks and relationships to ensure strong participation from corporate, government, academic, institutional, and industry bodies
• Work closely with the Centre Manager and internal teams to use events as a platform for lead generation, brand visibility, partnership building, and business conversion
• Ensure event participation translates into qualified pipeline, strategic relationships, and centre growth opportunities
6. Sales Planning, Reporting & Internal Coordination
• Maintain strong sales discipline through CRM updates, pipeline tracking, account planning, visit planning, proposal tracking, and closure reporting
• Work closely with the Centre Manager, internal consultants, trainers, delivery teams, and leadership to align solutioning and conversions
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for program customization, proposal submissions, pricing discussions, SME mapping, and client closures
• Share periodic updates on market movement, account status, competitor activity, partnerships, and business outlook
Target Segments
The role is expected to drive business across:
• Corporates and enterprise accounts
• SMEs and regional businesses
• Colleges and universities
• Chambers, associations, and ecosystem bodies
• Government-linked and sector-linked partner institutions
Candidate Profile
Must Have
• 7 to 12 years of experience in B2B sales / business development
• Proven experience in one or more of the following:
• Corporate sales
• EdTech sales
• Corporate skilling / L&D solutions
• AI consulting / digital consulting / technology consulting sales
• Strong local market understanding and network in Delhi / Pune / Coimbatore / Kolkata
• Preference for local candidates from the respective city / region
• Fluency in the relevant local language is mandatory
• Experience in selling solutions, consulting, skilling, or transformation-led offerings
• Strong English communication, presentation, relationship-building, negotiation, and closure skills
• Ability to independently generate leads, build pipeline, and close business
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across corporates, institutions, associations, and ecosystem bodies
Preferred
• Experience in AI, digital transformation, data, emerging technology, executive education, or enterprise learning solutions
• Prior exposure to institutional sales, university partnerships, or ecosystem-led business development
• Existing connects with local corporate networks, associations, chambers, colleges, and industry platforms
• Strong consultative selling and solutioning approach
Language Preference by Location
• Delhi: Hindi and English
• Pune: Marathi, Hindi, and English
• Coimbatore: Tamil and English
• Kolkata: Bengali and English
