About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and innovative
Data & AI Intern with interest or experience in
Microsoft Fabric, Python, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Large Language Models (LLMs). This role will focus on contributing to
agentic AI solutions, building
Copilot extensions, and enhancing
Power BI workflows using modern AI-driven automation.
The ideal intern is curious, eager to learn, and excited to work on cutting-edge technologies that blend data engineering with generative AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining Microsoft Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, and Notebooks.
- Develop Python scripts for data ingestion, cleaning, feature engineering, and automation.
- Experiment with and fine-tune LLMs for business use cases including retrieval, prompt engineering, and building agent-based systems.
- Contribute to the creation of AI-powered agents for Copilot in Fabric and Power BI scenarios.
- Help develop prototypes for Copilot extensions, semantic automation, and intelligent report generation.
- Support senior engineers and analysts in data modeling and dashboard enhancement for Power BI.
- Explore and evaluate open-source and enterprise AI tools for internal projects.
- Document code, workflows, and experiment results clearly and concisely.
Preferred / Good-to-Have
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, or Databricks.
- Understanding of agentic AI frameworks or tools (Copilot studio, AI Foundry, etc.).
- Knowledge of Power BI Desktop basics.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating Python with cloud services.
- Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.

Work Experience
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Python programming.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, NLP, or LLMs (even academic or project-level experience).
- Understanding of SQL and data fundamentals.
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong willingness to learn Microsoft Fabric components and Power BI.
