About the Role
This is not a traditional engineering or RevOps role.
As a Founding GTM Systems Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of engineering, revenue, and AI automation, working directly with the CEO and the Founder’s Office to design and build the systems that power our go-to-market engine.
You will act as a builder within the revenue team, identifying friction across the GTM funnel and turning it into scalable, intelligent systems. Your work will directly impact pipeline generation, sales productivity, and revenue expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build the GTM Infrastructure
- Design and develop scalable systems that power lead generation, qualification, and conversion
- Architect workflows across CRM, outreach tools, and internal platforms
- Build internal tools that improve sales velocity and visibility
2. AI & Automation
- Develop AI-driven workflows using LLMs to automate repetitive GTM tasks
- Build systems for personalized outreach, enrichment, and lead scoring
- Integrate multiple LLM APIs and data sources to create intelligent decision systems
3. Pipeline & Growth Engineering
- Identify bottlenecks across the revenue funnel and systematically eliminate them
- Create experimentation frameworks to optimize conversion at each stage
- Enable outbound and inbound engines through automation and data
4. Founder’s Office Collaboration
- Work directly with leadership on high-impact growth initiatives
- Translate strategic ideas into deployable systems quickly
- Operate with high ownership and speed in a zero-to-one environment
What We’re Looking For
Core Requirements
- 0.6 to 3 years of experience in backend engineering, automation, or growth engineering roles
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript (Node.js)
- Experience building APIs, workflows, and scalable backend systems
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) and prompt/system design
- Familiarity with tools like CRMs (HubSpot/Salesforce), Zapier, n8n, or similar automation stacks
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate ambiguity into systems
Good to Have
- Experience in RevOps, Growth Engineering, or Sales Automation
- Exposure to data pipelines, analytics, and experimentation frameworks
- Experience integrating multi-LLM systems or AI agents
- Familiarity with SaaS GTM motions (PLG, outbound, inbound, enterprise sales)
- Startup experience (especially in 0→1 or early-stage environments)
