Not AI enthusiasts.
Not prompt collectors.
Not people discovering AI last week.
We’re looking for artists who already have a strong foundation in Animation / Film / Design,
and have spent the last year or more seriously getting their hands dirty with AI filmmaking tools.
At Girgit, we’re exploring AI to assist in design and production as a new storytelling medium —
not to generate content faster,
but to create cinematic films in animated looks with craft, control, and intent.

That said, there are a few things you should know before applying.
Role & level
- Role: AI Artist
- Open to mid-level, senior, and exceptionally strong freshers
- We are hiring multiple artists
- You’ll be working with senior creative directors and award-winning filmmakers, so expectations on craft and thinking will be high.
Nature of the work
- This role involves a mix of experimentation and production delivery
- Some days will be pure R&D.
- Some days will require you to make things work on deadline.
- We are actively building AI-assisted animation workflows, not just generating images.
- You should be comfortable working in situations where the pipeline is still being figured out.
Tools & workflow expectations
We don’t expect you to know everything, but you should be comfortable working with modern AI workflows such as:
- Node-based setups (ComfyUI or similar)
- Image / video generation tools (Flux, Wan, Freepik, SD-based workflows, etc.)
- Integrating AI outputs into real production pipelines
Artists with background in 2D / 3D animation, film, or design will be strongly preferred.
Who this role suits

- Enjoy solving problems that don’t have tutorials yet
- Care about storytelling as much as technology
- Can experiment freely, but still deliver when needed
- Understand that AI is unpredictable, and that’s part of the job

- Remote role (India only)
