AI Faculty — Certificate in Applied AI
IWP Academy — Corporate · West Delhi · Full-time, on-site
Company Description
IWP Academy — Corporate is a premier educational institution committed to uplifting social status and promoting equality since 1998, now offering co-ed classes to reflect this mission. The academy has built a strong reputation on the achievements of its staff and students, and on its focus on professional, career-oriented courses. Learners benefit from a supportive, small-college atmosphere while accessing the facilities and resources of a larger institute. IWP emphasises professional orientation, structured teaching methods, technical expertise and modern infrastructure, and is known for a student-centric approach that translates care into dedicated professionalism and methodical academic practice.
Role Description
The AI Faculty member will deliver IWP Academy's Certificate in Applied AI — a 36-session, nine-module programme covering practical artificial intelligence for creative and business professionals. The programme is delivered in a hybrid format: theory and tool walkthroughs are produced centrally and delivered online, while lab practice, critique sessions, project supervision and assessment take place live on campus.
This is a hands-on teaching role centred on applied practice rather than theoretical instruction. The faculty member will run studio sessions, supervise capstone projects to real client briefs, and sit on the oral defence panel that determines whether a learner is certified.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver live campus sessions across all nine modules, facilitating lab practice, structured critique and group work around centrally produced online content
- Supervise learners through capstone projects to real client briefs, from scoping through to final delivery
- Assess learner work against the programme rubric, including process documentation, verification rigour and ethical compliance — not output quality alone
- Sit on the Demo Day oral defence panel and question learners on their working process
- Maintain assessment integrity, including the standing requirement that no work is graded without an accompanying process log
- Mentor learners on portfolio construction and professional positioning
- Contribute to the mandatory six-month content refresh, verifying that tools, fallbacks and legal content remain current
- Support admissions counselling with accurate information about the programme and its outcomes
- Participate in academic meetings and institutional initiatives, and maintain a professional, inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional use of generative AI in real commercial work. Candidates must be able to show finished output — client deliverables, campaigns, published content or production work — where AI formed part of the process
- Practical command of current generative AI tools across text, image and video, including prompt construction, iteration and style control
- Ability to explain how AI systems work in plain language, including where and why they fail
- Working understanding of intellectual property considerations in AI-generated work, and of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 as it applies to client data
- Strong verification discipline — the ability to identify fabricated citations, incorrect figures and bias in AI output, and to teach that skill to others
- Skills in lesson delivery, structured critique facilitation and student assessment, with the ability to give direct feedback constructively
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi; an additional Indian language is a significant advantage
- Comfort working within a hybrid model — facilitating live sessions around content the candidate did not personally produce
- Willingness to complete IWP's mandatory faculty certification pathway before taking a live cohort (see below)
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional background in design, marketing, content, media or business operations, with three or more years of commercial practice
- Prior teaching, training or workshop facilitation experience
- Working familiarity with no-code automation platforms such as n8n, Make or Zapier
- Working knowledge of design software for finishing AI-generated assets — Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or Figma
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline. A computer science, AI or data science degree is not required, and is not preferred over demonstrated applied practice
Mandatory Faculty Certification Pathway
The selected candidate must complete the following before delivering to a live cohort. All four are supported and funded by the Academy.
- AI Fluency: Framework and Foundations — Anthropic Academy, free, certificate issued
- Teaching AI Fluency — Anthropic Academy, free
- The full learner programme as a student, including a capstone project
- Two supervised dry runs
