Role Overview
Heisenberg Institute for AI and Quantum Computing is inviting experienced AI practitioners and educators to join as part-time AI Faculty. This is a deep, professional-level AI certification, designed for learners seeking strong technical and industry readiness—not introductory exposure.
AI Faculty members are expected to deliver advanced, application-driven instruction, mentor learners, and contribute to the academic and industry relevance of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced AI curriculum modules aligned with the CPAI framework
- Conduct live masterclasses, technical workshops, and applied sessions
- Support creating and building class materials where necessary.
- Teach and mentor learners across areas such as:
- Machine Learning and Deep Learning
- NLP and Generative AI
- Model training, evaluation, and optimization
- Applied AI systems and real-world use cases
- LLM fine-tuning / RAG systems
- Model deployment (MLOps, APIs, containers)
- Guide learners through projects and internship-aligned outcomes
- Translate complex AI concepts into clear, structured, and practical explanations
- Collaborate on curriculum updates to reflect evolving industry standards
Required Experience & Expertise
- Strong applied experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI
- Expert in Python and modern AI frameworks/tools (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, LLM ecosystems)
- Prior experience teaching or mentoring professional or advanced learners
- Ability to maintain technical rigor while teaching with clarity
- Exposure to real-world AI implementation or deployment, not just theory
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience delivering long-duration certification or professional programs
- Mentorship, technical leadership, or curriculum design experience
