We're hiring: AI Engineering Intern at Digitomics
Enterprises waste an estimated $236 billion annually on cloud infrastructure. At Digitomics, we are compressing the cloud optimization cycle from 25 business days to under one — using LLM-driven agents, MCP-native integrations, and real-time anomaly detection to turn cloud waste into decisions finance leaders can act on immediately.
We are looking for an AI Engineering Intern to join our founding team in Bengaluru and contribute to production AI agent systems from day one.
About the Role
This is a hands-on engineering role embedded with the founding team. You will design and ship autonomous agents that detect cloud cost anomalies, gather cross-system context, and trigger action through tools like AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Datadog, Jira, and Slack — all orchestrated through the Model Context Protocol.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy autonomous AI agents for anomaly detection and remediation
- Build multi-agent orchestration patterns across collection, reasoning, and routing layers
- Develop and maintain MCP servers connecting agents to live cloud infrastructure tools
- Integrate and benchmark multiple LLM providers, including Claude, GPT-4, and open-source models
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines using ChromaDB and PostgreSQL
- Implement guardrails, evaluation suites, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints
- Contribute to the FastAPI and Celery backend powering the platform
What We Are Looking For
- Strong working knowledge of Python, including async programming and REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with at least one LLM or agent framework: LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, Claude Agent SDK, or OpenAI function calling
- Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol or tool-augmented LLM patterns
- Basic understanding of embeddings, vector search, and RAG architectures
- Comfort with Git, pull requests, and CI/CD workflows
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field — self-taught builders with strong portfolios are equally welcome
Preferred
Exposure to AWS or GCP, Docker, FinOps concepts, evaluation frameworks (promptfoo, RAGAS, DeepEval), or open-source AI/ML contributions.
What You Will Gain
- Production experience on a live system serving paying customers, not simulations
- Direct mentorship from the founding engineering team through daily code reviews and architecture sessions
- A detailed experience certificate and individual professional references on completion
- A commit history and project portfolio that demonstrate real impact
Role Details
Location: Onsite, Bengaluru
Type: Full-time internship, 3 months with possibility of extension
