AI Engineer Intern (Python, Django & AI Automation)Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated AI Engineer Intern to join our team and work on building AI-powered automation workflows, intelligent agents, and backend systems. The role involves developing AI-driven solutions using Python, Django, and modern AI frameworks to automate tasks and improve system intelligence.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about AI agents, workflow automation, backend development, and emerging AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI automation workflows and intelligent AI agents.
- Build and maintain backend APIs and services using Python and Django.
- Integrate AI models, LLM APIs, and automation tools into applications.
- Design and develop scalable AI-driven systems and microservices.
- Work on data processing, prompt engineering, and AI integrations.
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to design AI-powered features.
- Assist in deploying and maintaining AI-powered web applications and automation pipelines.
- Research and experiment with new AI tools, frameworks, and agent-based architectures.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Python programming.
- Experience with Django / Django REST Framework.
- Understanding of AI agents, LLMs, or automation frameworks.
- Experience with APIs and backend development.
- Basic knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL / MongoDB).
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AI agent frameworks.
- Knowledge of workflow automation tools and AI pipelines.
- Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Ollama, etc.).
- Understanding of Docker, cloud deployment, or DevOps basics.
- Experience building RAG systems or AI copilots.
