AI Engineer (Intern / Junior) — Applied AI and LLM Systems
Location: Remote or India (flexible)
Experience: Intern / 0–3 years
Employment Type: Internship or Full-time
About SparkyMinis
SparkyMinis is building a unified workspace where professionals, small businesses, and individuals manage projects, finances, travel, and personal workflows in one secure platform.
AI is a core part of the platform. We integrate intelligent assistance directly into real workflows — helping users manage documents, financial data, projects, and travel with clarity and control.
We focus on privacy-first architecture, user ownership, and practical AI systems that solve real problems.
Role Overview
We’re looking for an AI Engineer to help build and improve AI-powered features across the SparkyMinis platform.
This is an applied AI role. You’ll work on integrating modern LLM systems into real product workflows — designing prompt pipelines, building intelligent features, and improving how AI interacts with structured data and user context.
You won’t be working on theoretical models or isolated experiments. You’ll build real systems used in production.
Internship role with opportunity to grow into a full-time position.
What You’ll Work On
- Build AI-powered features using modern LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude preferred, OpenAI, Gemini, or similar acceptable)
- Design prompt pipelines and context-aware AI workflows
- Integrate AI into product features involving projects, documents, and structured workflows
- Improve reliability, accuracy, and performance of AI features
- Work with structured data, APIs, and real application systems
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ship production-ready features
Core Requirements
We’re looking for someone who enjoys building real systems and learning fast.
- Comfortable writing production-quality code in Python or TypeScript
- Have used at least one LLM API (Anthropic Claude preferred, others acceptable)
- Able to build complete small systems, not just experiments or notebooks
- Understand how to structure prompts and integrate AI into applications
- Familiar with APIs, backend systems, or application data flow
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn quickly
- Have built at least one meaningful project (personal, academic, internship, or open-source)
Nice to Have
These are helpful to have.
- Experience building AI-powered apps or tools using LLM APIs
- Experience working with structured data or document workflows
- Familiarity with Firebase, cloud platforms, or backend infrastructure
- Experience integrating external APIs into applications
- GitHub profile or project portfolio showing systems you’ve built
Why This Role Is Different
- You’ll work directly on real AI product systems
- Your work will ship to production and be used by real users
- You’ll gain hands-on experience with modern applied AI architecture
- You’ll have ownership and visible impact
