About the Opportunity
Recruit Forge is hiring for its client, KairoPact, for the role of AI Engineer Intern. KairoPact is building an AI platform for the international development sector. The mission is to develop a multi-agent AI system that reduces weeks of manual development-sector workflows into hours through intelligent automation.
Role Overview
As an AI Engineer Intern, you will work on building multi-agent AI systems using LangGraph, LLM APIs, and FastAPI services. The role requires hands-on execution, research capability, and strong ownership.
What You Will Work On
Month 1
- Build proposal intelligence pipeline
- LangGraph multi-agent orchestration
- Multi-model LLM API integration
- FastAPI services development
- JSON schema validation
- Human-in-the-loop gating systems
Months 2–3
- Research automation opportunities across KairoPact workflows
- Propose AI-driven improvements
- Build approved systems in areas like:
- Grant management
- Compliance workflows
- Marketplace automation
- Impact assessment systems
Required Skills
- Python (FastAPI, REST APIs, JSON handling)
- Experience calling at least one LLM API in a real project
- Git fundamentals
- Understanding of JSON schemas
- Awareness of vector databases

Selection Process
- Shortlisted candidates complete a paid 5-day sprint
- Sprint objective: Build the core proposal intelligence pipeline from a detailed technical specification
- Successful completion leads to a 3-month internship offer
- You will work directly with the founder (no intermediary layers)
