AI Engineer – Voice AI / LLM (Remote)
We are building an AI-powered clinic automation platform that can automatically call patients for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and prescription notifications.
We are looking for an AI engineer who can help us build a real-time voice AI system using open-source models.
Responsibilities
• Build a real-time AI voice calling system
• Implement speech-to-text and text-to-speech pipelines
• Integrate LLM-based conversation logic
• Optimize latency for live phone conversations
• Integrate AI services with backend APIs
Required Skills
• Strong experience with Python
• Experience with LLM frameworks and AI agents
• Experience with speech-to-text models
• Understanding of real-time audio processing
• Experience building APIs using FastAPI or Node.js
Preferred Experience
• Working with Whisper
• Working with Coqui TTS
• Experience with open-source LLMs like Llama 3
• Telephony integration using Twilio or SIP
