Role Description The AI Engineer role at TVH is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City, After confimation 2 days WFH. The AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI and machine learning solutions that support TVH’s operational efficiency, customer experience, and innovation projects. Day-to-day tasks include building and training models, preparing and validating datasets, collaborating with product and IT teams to integrate AI features into applications, and monitoring model performance in production. The role also involves documenting solutions, participating in code reviews, contributing to technical architecture decisions, and staying current with emerging AI technologies and tools. The AI Engineer works closely with stakeholders to translate business problems into technical requirements and deliver robust, scalable AI-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, software engineering principles, and object-oriented programming.
- Practical experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and model development workflows.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for AI, such as Python, and familiarity with libraries for data processing and analysis (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, ADK, LangChain, Agentic frameworks).
- Experience working with data pipelines, data cleaning, feature engineering, and model evaluation in real-world production environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and MLOps practices (e.g., CI/CD for ML, containerization, model monitoring, and deployment on services like GCP, AWS or Azure).
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and translate business needs into AI solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in industrial, logistics, or related sectors, and familiarity with applications such as predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, or intelligent search is a plus.
