We're hiring Backend AI Engineers to join a well-funded early-stage US-based AI startup building real-world AI systems for global clients across the US, UK, and Europe.
Location: Bangalore (remote for now; will evolve as we scale).
Experience: 1–4 years
Work at the intersection of consulting and product, solving real AI problems and turning them into production systems.
If you enjoy working on LLMs, AI agents, backend systems, and production-grade applications, you’ll likely enjoy this role.
What you’ll do
- Build backend systems for AI/ML workflows
- Design APIs and data pipelines
- Turn ambiguous problems into production systems
- Write clean, production-ready code
- Own problems end-to-end and work independently
What we’re looking for
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Solid backend fundamentals with experience building production systems
- Understanding of APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Exposure to applied AI, AI/ML systems, data pipelines, or LLMs
- Familiarity with cloud-based architectures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with global teams
