About the Role:
RSV Group of Schools is a prominent multi-institute legacy organization in Bikaner, which is bringing our day-to-day operations onto software for the first time. We’re hiring our first technical person to make that happen. Right now there is no system, no codebase, and no tech team — you would be all of it. You’ll choose the stack, build it from zero, and own it end to end: the database, the web interface, the deployment, and the AI agents that do the actual work.
You’d report to and work directly with the head of school, alongside teaching and non-technical staff — not a tech team. That means you set the technical direction, make the calls, and live with them. We care more about what you’ve built and how you think than about your pedigree. If you’ve shipped an LLM-powered feature that real users depend on, and you can reason about why an agent fails and how to make it reliable, we want to talk.
The First Project:
- An internal dashboard for the school, built around AI agents. Concretely:
- The CEO assigns tasks to admin, teaching, and non-teaching staff.
- Each staff member sees their tasks and submits reports in a fixed, structured format.
- A validation agent checks every report against the required structure and the school’s rules, flags anything missing or out of spec, and asks the submitter to fix it before the report is accepted.
- An analysis agent reads the accepted reports, summarizes them, surfaces patterns and outliers, and gives the principal a clear picture of what’s happening across the school.
- More agent-driven workflows will follow as the school’s needs grow. This is the foundation, not the finish line.
What you’ll do!
- Stand up the stack from zero. Nothing exists today — you choose the tools, framework, database, and hosting, set it all up, and own the architecture.
- Build and ship the web application end to end: data model, backend, frontend, authentication, and role-based access for principal, teachers, and staff.
- Design agent workflows that hold up in production — structured outputs, validation, retries, and sensible fallbacks for when the model gets it wrong.
- Integrate LLM APIs (e.g. Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) and wire them into the app with the right tools and context.
- Build the report-validation and report-analysis agents, and keep their behavior predictable and easy to adjust as rules change.
- Set up basic evaluations and logging so we can tell when an agent is doing its job and catch regressions early.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain the tool, and iterate based on how staff actually use it.
- Keep the system simple enough that one or two people can maintain it.
What we’re looking for?
- Shipped, real agent work. You’ve built at least one LLM-powered or agentic feature that real users have used — a side project, startup, or job all count.
- Full-stack web ability. You can build and deploy a complete web app: a modern frontend (React / Next.js or similar) and a backend (Python / FastAPI, Node, or similar) with a real database (Postgres, MySQL, or similar).
- Practical LLM and agent skills. Hands-on with an LLM API: prompting, tool / function calling, structured (JSON) outputs, and handling model errors gracefully.
- Turning fuzzy into concrete. You can take a vague requirement like “verify the report follows the rules” and turn it into a concrete, testable agent design.
- Ownership. You’re comfortable being the only engineer — making architecture decisions on your own, building without much hand-holding, and keeping things simple enough that you (or whoever comes next) can maintain them. You write clear code and clear explanations.
- Communication. Good written communication — you’ll work directly with non-technical school staff.
Nice to have (But Not Required)
- Experience with an agent framework (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen) or having built your own orchestration.
- Familiarity with RAG / vector search, evals tooling (LangSmith or similar), or observability for LLM apps.
- Prior SaaS or internal-tooling experience — multi-user apps, role-based access, dashboards.
- Experience in education, or building tools for non-technical teams.
How we work & what we offer!
- Full autonomy over the technical direction — you are the technical function, and you decide how things are built.
- Direct access to the CEO, fast decisions, and real ownership of work that staff use every week.
- A flexible arrangement: full-time, part-time, or project-based contract.
- Compensation: As per industry norms. Negotiable based on experience and scope.
- Location: On-site in Bikaner/ Hybrid / Remote
