Role Description The AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions to optimize solar energy systems and related business processes at Ricans Solar Energy Limited. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and training machine learning models, implementing pattern recognition algorithms, and applying neural network architectures to improve forecasting, performance monitoring, and system efficiency. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI components into existing software platforms, working closely with engineers and operations staff to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The AI Engineer will also research emerging AI techniques, evaluate tools and frameworks, and ensure robust, scalable, and secure implementation of AI services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science with practical experience in Software Development and building production-grade applications.
- Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and related AI frameworks to build and refine intelligent tools and assistants.
- Experience with programming languages commonly used in AI (such as Python) and version control tools (such as Git).
- Ability to work with large datasets, perform data cleaning and feature engineering, and evaluate model performance and optimization using appropriate metrics.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years building software or automations in production.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams.
