About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Developer specializing in IT Productivity solutions, specifically utilizing Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Power Platform ecosystem. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying agentic AI solutions that enhance enterprise productivity and automate complex workflows. As a key member of the team, you will work directly with clients in an offshore capacity, providing technical expertise, solution architecture, and hands-on development to meet project objectives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in AI development, particularly with Microsoft’s AI tools, and will be capable of leading technical discovery sessions, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise application development, automation, or AI solutions, with at least 5 years in a client-facing or managed services environment. Proven expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio for agent and bot development is essential, along with strong skills in Power Automate, Power Platform connectors, and Dataverse. A solid understanding of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, grounding, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) concepts is required. Experience integrating REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure AI services is also vital. Candidates should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft 365 tenant architecture, licensing, and permissions, and possess the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously. Leadership experience in technical discovery and solution design sessions will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy custom AI agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with client requirements. Build multi-turn conversation flows, topic authoring, and generative AI orchestration to create seamless user experiences. Leverage autonomous actions through Copilot agents, Power Automate flows, APIs, and connectors to automate complex workflows. Develop and maintain custom connectors, cloud flows, and Dataverse integrations, ensuring robust and reliable integrations with enterprise systems. Implement fallback logic, escalation paths, and AI safety guardrails in accordance with enterprise standards to ensure responsible AI deployment.
Architect single-agent, multi-agent, and orchestrator-agent solutions across enterprise environments, evaluating and recommending appropriate patterns based on risk and complexity. Integrate AI solutions with Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams and SharePoint, as well as Azure services, to maximize utility and user engagement. Support the development of internal agent marketplace or catalog frameworks to facilitate easy deployment and management of AI agents.
Ensure AI governance principles are adhered to, including least privilege access, prompt injection mitigation, monitoring, and the design of kill-switch mechanisms. Document agent logic, data flow, permissions, and escalation processes to maintain transparency and compliance with data privacy, residency, and audit requirements. Participate in AI risk assessments and deployment reviews to ensure responsible AI practices.
Monitor deployed solutions for performance, accuracy, and user adoption, iterating based on telemetry and client feedback. Contribute to the creation of delivery playbooks, service level agreements (SLAs), and post-deployment runbooks. Develop reusable components, templates, and accelerators to streamline future deployments. Stay current with the Microsoft Copilot roadmap and incorporate new capabilities into client environments to ensure continuous improvement.
Provide technical leadership by acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for Copilot Studio and agentic AI solutions across client engagements. Lead discovery sessions, architecture reviews, and design workshops to guide solution development. Establish development standards and governance frameworks, mentoring junior developers and client-side citizen developers to build internal capabilities and ensure best practices are followed.
