About The Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Developer specializing in IT Productivity solutions, particularly with expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio. This role is integral to our active client engagement with Oxford, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced agentic AI solutions that enhance enterprise productivity. The position offers a remote work environment, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with our global team and client stakeholders. As a senior member of the team, you will lead technical discovery, solution architecture, and development efforts, ensuring the delivery of innovative AI solutions that adhere to enterprise standards and best practices.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over seven years of experience in enterprise application development, automation, or AI solutions, with at least five years in a client-facing or managed services environment. Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio for agent and bot development is essential. Strong expertise in Power Automate, Power Platform connectors, and Dataverse is required, along with a working knowledge of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, grounding, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) concepts. Familiarity with REST API integrations, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure AI services is also necessary. Candidates should have a solid understanding of Microsoft 365 tenant architecture, licensing, and permissions, along with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously. Leadership skills in conducting technical discovery sessions and solution design workshops are highly valued.
Responsibilities
Design and Development of AI Agents and Copilots: You will be responsible for creating, customizing, and deploying AI agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio. This includes developing multi-turn conversation flows, topic authoring, and orchestrating generative AI functionalities. Building agentic solutions that leverage autonomous actions such as Copilot agents, Power Automate flows, and APIs/connectors is a key aspect of this role. You will also create and maintain custom connectors, cloud flows, and Dataverse integrations, ensuring solutions are scalable and secure.
Solution Architecture and Integration: You will architect comprehensive agent-based solutions, including single-agent, multi-agent, and orchestrator setups across enterprise systems. Evaluating and recommending appropriate patterns—whether human-in-the-loop or fully autonomous—is critical based on risk and complexity considerations. Integration with Microsoft 365 applications like Teams and SharePoint, as well as Azure services, will be part of your responsibilities. Supporting the development of internal agent marketplace frameworks and catalogs will also be essential.
Governance and Responsible AI Practices: Ensuring AI solutions comply with governance principles such as least privilege access, prompt injection mitigation, and AI safety guardrails is vital. You will document agent logic, data flows, permissions, and escalation processes, ensuring adherence to data privacy, residency, and audit requirements. Participating in AI risk assessments and deployment reviews will help maintain responsible AI practices.
Practice and Delivery Excellence: Monitoring deployed solutions for performance, accuracy, and user adoption will be ongoing tasks. You will iterate solutions based on telemetry data and client feedback, contributing to delivery playbooks, SLAs, and post-deployment runbooks. Building reusable components, templates, and accelerators will enhance delivery efficiency. Staying current with Microsoft Copilot roadmap updates and integrating new capabilities into client environments is essential for continuous improvement.
Technical Leadership: Acting as a subject matter expert, you will lead discovery sessions, architecture reviews, and design workshops. Establishing development standards and governance frameworks will ensure consistency and quality across projects. Mentoring junior developers and client-side citizen developers will be part of your leadership responsibilities, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
