About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior AI Engineer to join our Engineering department. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and deploying advanced Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM)-based applications that make wellness more personalized, intelligent, and accessible. You will lead efforts to research, design, and implement innovative AI systems that enhance our platform’s capabilities and user experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, with proven experience in deploying AI models into production environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and customer success teams, to translate complex AI concepts into impactful solutions that align with our mission of improving human well-being through technology.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess at least 3 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, LLMs, or Generative AI. A strong understanding of ML architectures, data structures, and system design principles is essential. Candidates should have demonstrated experience deploying AI models into production and managing the full ML lifecycle.
Technical proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX is required. Familiarity with GenAI stacks like LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, and AI Agents, as well as backend technologies including FastAPI, Node.js, MongoDB, and vector databases like Pinecone, is highly desirable. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields is required, with a Ph.D. or equivalent research experience in AI/ML/NLP considered a plus.
Soft skills such as excellent communication, storytelling abilities, analytical mindset, and creative problem-solving skills are vital. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a passion for innovation, wellness, and human-centered technology.
Responsibilities
The Senior AI Engineer will be responsible for leading the development of AI-driven wellness solutions, including:
- Researching and experimenting with the latest advancements in GenAI, LLMs, agentic systems, and memory-enhanced architectures such as Mem0 and graph-based memory layers to improve context retention and coherence across interactions.
- Designing, building, and deploying scalable AI applications utilizing modern ML stacks, Python, FastAPI, and vector databases.
- Managing the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, monitoring, and scaling.
- Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to develop impactful AI-enhanced features and experiences for our wellness platform.
- Translating complex technical concepts into clear insights and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensuring system robustness, performance, and security through rigorous testing, monitoring, and iterative improvements.
