About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI / Machine Learning Engineer to join our core team at GoML. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying Generative AI systems that address real enterprise needs. Your responsibilities will encompass model training, fine-tuning, deployment, and ongoing monitoring to ensure optimal performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including research scientists, product managers, and engineers, to translate innovative AI concepts into scalable solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Generative AI, working on groundbreaking projects that have a direct impact on enterprise transformation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields, complemented by practical experience in AI development. Key qualifications include a minimum of three years of hands-on experience with Generative AI, proficiency in Python programming, and familiarity with RAG and LLM architectures. Experience with building and maintaining data pipelines, deploying models in production environments, and evaluating AI system performance is essential. Candidates should also have experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, and familiarity with tools like Git, Docker, and Linux systems. Additional skills in model optimization, MLOps, and frameworks used in AI development are advantageous.
Responsibilities
During the first 30 days, your focus will be on understanding GoML’s AI and GenAI platforms, familiarizing yourself with existing pipelines, and collaborating with senior engineers to grasp business objectives. You will immerse yourself in our architecture, use cases, and current approaches to RAG, LLM fine-tuning, and model evaluation.
In the subsequent 30 to 60 days, you will begin designing and developing Generative AI solutions utilizing transformer models, fine-tuning pre-trained LLMs for specific domains, and building data pipelines for training and inference workflows. You will apply best software engineering practices to ensure robustness, evaluate model performance, and develop proof-of-concept systems to demonstrate feasibility.
By 180 days, you will take ownership of end-to-end ML/GenAI pipelines, from training to deployment. You will optimize models for production, implement techniques for model compression, and continuously monitor deployed systems to improve reliability and performance. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in Generative AI and applying them thoughtfully will be critical. You will also work cross-functionally to solve complex business problems at scale, ensuring that AI solutions deliver measurable impact.
