About the role

AI ECD is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Intern with a focus on classical machine learning and the implementation of large language models (LLMs) to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining classical machine learning models, including non-linear regression models, as well as developing and deploying LLMs using PyTorch. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge early childhood development tools that leverage generative AI. Responsibilities Develop and maintain classical machine learning models, including non-linear regression models. Implement large language models (LLMs) using PyTorch. Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions. Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies. Engage in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards and continuous improvement. Minimum Requirements Educational Background: Master's degree in Machine Learning, Mathematics, Software Engineering or a related field. Professional Experience: At least 2 years of professional work experience in a technology company, excluding internships and academic experience. Expertise in Machine Learning: Proficiency in building and maintaining classical machine learning models, including non-linear regression models. Large Language Model (LLM) Implementation: Experience in developing and deploying LLMs using PyTorch. Data Preprocessing and Feature Engineering: Strong skills in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation. Programming Skills: Proficient in Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Statistical Analysis: Strong understanding of statistical methods and their application in machine learning. Exploratory Data Analysis: Ability to perform exploratory data analysis and generate insights from large datasets. Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies.
