Hands-on experience designing and constructing AI coding agent customisations: agents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and plugins. CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Frontend React / Angular (micro-frontend architecture with single-spa / Module Federation) TypeScript, HTML5, CSS Unit testing: Jasmine, Karma, Jest Backend & Integration Java (Spring Boot / Spring Cloud) — primary backend services Node.js — lightweight APIs and integration services RESTful APIs & microservices architecture KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design, build, and deliver end-to-end features across React/Angular frontends and Java/Node.js microservices, integrated with REST APIs and Kafka-based event streams. Own prompt structuring, validation, and refinement for AI-generated code — ensuring correctness, security compliance, and adherence to Citizens' engineering standards. Leverage AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) by authoring customisations — agents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and plugins — to accelerate development without sacrificing quality. Build multi-agent AI applications using Agent SDKs to orchestrate workflows where agents collaborate or hand off tasks to each other. Implement and champion test-driven development (TDD) across unit, integration, and contract testing layers using Jasmine/Jest/Karma. Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and cloud-native deployments on AWS/Azure using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS). Maintain observability standards — structured logging (ELK/Datadog), alerting (Prometheus/Grafana/AppDynamics), and performance profiling. Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams to translate business goals into scalable, compliant technical solutions.
