About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated AI Intern who is passionate about building real-world AI systems. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience with GenAI, agentic systems, and modern backend AI architectures in a fast-moving startup environment.
You will work closely with the founding and technical team on production-grade AI systems, not toy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and production-ready Python code
- Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, preferably using graph databases
- Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and build agentic AI systems
- Develop and integrate REST APIs, primarily using FastAPI
- Optimize systems for speed, scalability, and reliability
- Follow clean coding practices, modular design, and proper documentation
- Collaborate in a high-pressure, fast-paced startup environment
- Take ownership of tasks and execute with speed and accountability
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines (graph-based retrieval is a plus)
- Practical exposure to GenAI, LLMs, and agent frameworks
- Experience building APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code
- Strong problem-solving skills and fast execution mindset
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with tight timelines
- Ability to handle pressure and ambiguity
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, etc.)
- Familiarity with vector databases
- Prior work on AI agents, automation, or orchestration systems
- Exposure to cloud platforms or deployment workflows
