Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Data Strategist & Analyst to join our growing team in a fully remote capacity. This is a strategic and hands-on role designed for a professional who combines deep analytical capability with a strong understanding of AI systems, data architecture, and product strategy.
You will work directly with the founding team to shape how Neo companion collects, interprets, and acts on client data — driving both clinical outcomes and commercial growth. You will bridge the gap between raw data, actionable insights, and product decisions that directly impact vulnerable individuals in care settings.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the crossroads of data science, AI product strategy, and human impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Architecture
- Design and maintain the data strategy for the Neo platform across all deployment environments (Pi 5 edge devices, Hetzner cloud, mobile applications)
- Define data collection frameworks, retention policies, and quality standards in alignment with GDPR, HIPAA-adjacent, and Austrian DSG compliance requirements
- Develop and maintain the Neo4j graph memory schema to optimise multi-tenant client data isolation and retrieval
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for clinical outcomes, platform performance, and user engagement
- AI Model Performance & Optimisation
- Analyse the performance of integrated AI models (Claude, DeepSeek V3, Qwen 2.5, Llama 3.3) and provide routing recommendations based on query type, latency, and cost
- Monitor Whisper STT transcription accuracy and identify patterns in misrecognition to improve voice interaction quality
- Develop scoring frameworks to evaluate wake word detection performance (Porcupine / OpenWakeWord)
- Build benchmarking pipelines for comparing model outputs across use cases
- Client Health & Wellbeing Analytics
- Design the health data analytics layer for The Prime Program — VXNeo's personalised care enrollment system
- Develop longitudinal analysis of client pain scores, mood ratings, medicine compliance, and fall detection events
- Create early warning indicators and risk stratification models to support care coordinators
- Build Telegram notification logic for proactive intervention triggers based on client health trends
- Product & Business Intelligence
- Translate platform usage data into actionable product insights for the founding team
- Develop market sizing analyses and competitive intelligence reports for investor
- Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Produce weekly data summaries for PROAS Vienna coordinator dashboard (chatvx.com)
- Create daily family summary reports via Telegram for Prime Program clients
- Design and maintain data visualisations for executive reporting and grant submissions
- Prepare data-driven briefing documents for investor meetings and government funding applications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data analytics, data strategy, or AI product analysis
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, scikit-learn)
- Demonstrated experience with graph databases, preferably Neo4j
- Strong understanding of large language model ecosystems and AI product architecture
- Experience working with healthcare, disability, or social impact data (preferred)
- Understanding of GDPR and data privacy frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently across multiple time zones
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with vector databases (Qdrant) or embedding-based search systems
- Familiarity with Redis for real-time data pipelines
- Experience building analytics dashboards (Next.js, Grafana, or similar)
- Knowledge of clinical data standards or disability care frameworks
