What You'll Do
As an AI Data Engineer, you'll help build the data platform that powers AI, analytics, and scientific applications across Mstack AI.
You'll work on problems such as:
- Building scalable data pipelines for patents, journals, and scientific datasets
- Transforming unstructured scientific literature into structured, provenance-aware data
- Contributing to molecule- and reaction-centric knowledge graphs
- Building reliable data infrastructure that powers AI, machine learning, robotics, and analytics
- Improving data quality, observability, and reproducibility across the platform
What We're Looking For
We're looking for engineers who:
- Have strong computer science fundamentals
- Enjoy building scalable backend and data systems
- Are comfortable programming in Python, Java, Go, or Scala
- Understand the fundamentals of machine learning and modern AI systems
- Are curious, enjoy learning new domains, and like solving complex problems
Prior experience with data engineering, distributed systems, LLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs, or scientific data is a bonus, but not a requirement.
